With the MAGNA3, you can stop worrying about complicated pump settings. Simply install the pump and leave it on the factory setting, AUTOADAPT. The MAGNA3 will automatically analyze the heating system, find the optimum setting and then continuously adjust its operation to changes in demand.
System Buffer Tanks
Low water content boilers operating at low loads will short cycle leading to sooting, premature component failure, and nuisance shut downs. If the boiler is allowed to fire for a minimum of several minutes the full efficiency of the boiler can be achieved preventing sooting, premature component failure, and nuisance shut downs.
Cement Lined Storage Tanks
Cement mortar linings have been the preferred method of lining tanks and pipe since the early 1900’s. Cement linings create an excellent corrosion resistant lining for many reasons. The main factor is that high density cement linings have an extremely low absorption rate preventing the constant flow and oxygen to the substrate
Seismic and Vibrations Protection
In addition to a complete range of mountings, hangers, and flexible connectors for mechanical equipment, we provide computer studies for snubbing systems in earthquake and bomb blast zones. Floating floors, walls and suspended ceilings provide total acoustical room isolation. Rubber bearing pads and spring mountings are used to support entire buildings and railroads.

High-Load Vertical Turbine Pumps
Above ground, all vertical pumps may look the same, but beneath the surface is where the difference really becomes apparent. Peerless Pump is a leading manufacturer of engineered vertical pumps for the industrial, municipal, process and utilities markets.
Condensate is produced after the transition of a gas into a liquid due to a drop in temperature or pressure. In the case of burning natural gas in a high efficiency boiler, furnace or water heater, this condition occurs when the temperature of the flue gases starts to drop below 130°F.
This condensate is made up of several ingredients and will generally have a pH of between 2.9 and 4. As such, it is considered to be acidic and can cause serious damage to piping systems, sewerage systems, treatment facilities, septic systems and other items it may come in contact with. The acid neutralization takes place when the acidic solution comes in contact with the media. The calcium carbonate in the media changes the solution into water, CO2 and various salts which tend to collect in the bottom of the tank or tube.
Spirotherm, Inc. manufacturers the industry leading high efficiency Spirovent® coalescing type air elimination products and its extended line of Spirotrap® dirt separators. Developed and manufactured by Mestek Technologies, Heat Net provides an intuitive interface with plug-and-play connections to speed the set-up and diagnostic process for installing contractors. Heat Net is capable of operating RBI units as a stand-alone boiler, multi-boiler Master/Member network protocol of up to 16 boilers or to a Boiler Management System. The network can incorporate mixing of condensing, non-condensing boilers or base loading an existing boiler based on conditional and priority firing – all of which eliminate the need for an additional third party wall-mounted control platform .
The control configuration “learns” the applications optimal firing rates by using microprocessor electronics to monitor time-average responses based on actual usage to determine the load for the system for optimal energy efficiency. Standard Heat Net controls use a Modbus protocol with optional protocessor boards for BACnet and Lon Works based building management systems. Typical master/member systems using 2, 3 or 4 boiler configurations can see a total turndown ratio of 10, 15 or even 20:1!
The MAGNA3 is an innovative member of the Grundfos family of high-quality circulator pumps. The MAGNA3 pumps make up a broad range of small, medium and large circulator pumps fitted with communication equipment and motors with electronic speed control based on permanent magnet (PM) and compact stator motor technology.
With the MAGNA3, you can stop worrying about complicated pump settings. Simply install the pump and leave it on the factory setting, AUTOADAPT. The MAGNA3 will automatically analyze the heating system, find the optimum setting and then continuously adjust its operation to changes in demand. The result is optimum comfort and minimum energy consumption. In addition, MAGNA3 pumps are extremely flexible and reliable, and have low noise levels, long life and no maintenance requirements. They are fitted with IR communication and can offer external control and monitoring via expansion modules.
Cemline primary/secondary buffer tanks improve system efficiency by preventing the problem of short cycling boiler(s). Boiler systems are sized to heat the building on the coldest days. When the outside temperature is above minimum outside design conditions the boiler may only require a short period of firing to warm the building causing short cycling of the boiler. Installing a Primary/Secondary buffer tank prevents this short cycling. Many boiler manufactures do not recommend firing the boiler(s) more than 6 cycles per hour
Cemline primary/secondary buffer tanks remove air from the heating system, thus eliminating a separate air separator.
Cemline primary/secondary buffer tanks act as a hydraulic separator by separating the primary and secondary sides of the boiler system.
CEMLINE STONESTEEL® tanks are manufactured in strict accordance with ASME Code requirements and National Board Registration, and conform to Military Specifications, MIL-T-12295, Type II. The rusting and corrosion common with steel tanks is prevented because the water touches only non-corrosive surfaces. Tanks can be built in accordance with working pressures designed to suit particular jobs and are usually built for 125 psig working pressure, but are able to be manufactured with pressures from 1 to 500 psig. Cemline tanks are furnished with non-corrosive stainless steel threaded opening, when specified, to assure that water never contacts corrosive material. In accordance with ASME Code requirements, openings 4" and larger are furnished as 150# ANSI flanges. When flanged openings are provided, the neck of the flange is lined with STONESTEEL® tank lining to provide corrosion protection. All threaded openings are furnished as female NPT openings.
